On prior version of Thunderbird when a folder was selected it would be highlighted in blue. With newly installed version 39 when a folder is selected it is highlighted in light gray. Is there a way to get back blue?

re: With newly installed version 39

Thunderbird Current release is version 38.0.1 To check out your query, I have just downloaded this new version and installed. There is no change to my highlighted folder, it is still blue.

However, it will depend upon whether you have any themes installed and what you have in your Windows settings. I'm running the Thunderbird default theme.

I've got Vista but the window settings should be very similar. Control Panel > Personalisation

Under option : Window colour and appearance I'm using 'Windows Vista Basic' as is - I've not changed anything under the 'Advanced' options. clicking on 'Advanced' button offers more choices to tune to your preferences.
