What does the "save all tabs for later" function do, and how does one retrieve them later?

I just discovered this, tried it by clicking it, and nothing appeared to happen. Is something supposed to? If I'm saving them for later, shouldn't they disappear, as they used to with Pocket (before the upgrade)? Or does "Save all tabs for later" add them to Pocket?
