Thunderbird has disappeared from my screen, processes show running

How do I restore Thunderbird to a viewable state? It is not showing on my screen. The program will "open", it is not minimized... it just is not on the screen that I can see. In task manager, it does not show in the apps list, but does show in the active processes list. Please help.
