I am unable to get into my inbox, trash, sent or draft folders. How can I see the list of these items so I can access, for example, my inbox?

When I'm finished reading a mail message, I usually press cursor on < symbol in upper right corner of the screen. It then scrolls horizontally, showing the messages I've recently read, and finally comes to a stop at INBOX. I click on INBOX and return the message to that location. Now, the scrolling stops before I get to INBOX. It only goes as far as LOCAL FOLDERS.

Why are you not closing the message tabs after reading the message? There is no need for that many open tabs. In fact why not turn the Message Pane on by pressing F8 and read messages there instead on opening in a tab.

Right click one of the message tabs and select Close Other Tabs. Do you see the Inbox now?
