Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache.

• Clear the Cache and

• Remove Cookies
  Warning ! ! This will log you out of sites you're logged in to.

Type about:preferences<Enter> in the address bar.

• Cookies; Select Privacy. Under History, select Firefox will Use Custom Settings. Press the button on the right side called Show Cookies. Use the search bar to look for the site. Note; There may be more than one entry. Remove All of them.
• Cache; Select Advanced > Network. Across from Cached Web Content, Press Clear Now.

If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} While you are in safe mode;

Type about:preferences#advanced<Enter> in the address bar.

Under Advanced, Select General. Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration.

Poke around safe websites. Are there any problems?

Then restart.

Thanks for that but didn't help. I'm writing this on my XP PC and I don't store any history or cookies on it (although I do on my laptop). I tried Safe Mode but again, no difference. The group I want comes up immediately when I select it from bookmarks and log on. The page displayed shows the latest photos posted by members (it's a natural history group) but they are fuzzy. If I select "photos" it does eventually display them correctly but this takes quite a while. Exactly the same thing happens using my laptop. If I try to do this using IE there is no problem.

Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support to see if that has effect in case security software is causing problems.

Create a new profile to test if your current profile is causing the problem.

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.
