Good day, there are several posts are related to what I'm asking but no solutions ..

We have Tbird running in an IMAP environment and its behaving correctly with sync to server folders...

Where we are having an issue is trying to get "sent" message data trapped on machines that started as "local folders" loaded back up to the server where the remaining clients can see it.

To restate this another way- some email clients had the "sent folder" set to local - and they ran that way for many months. The messages sent from those isolated machines are not available for the rest of the team to review.

My question: how do we push missing messages back up to the IMAP "sent" share folder for the rest of the team to see.

Go into offline mode. Right click on highlighted 'sent' emails and select 'Copy to' and choose the Sent folder on imap mail account.

Go back to online mode and see if the copied sent emails now appear in imap sent folder.
