Need to move and combine an old profile on a new computer that we've been using Thunderbird on for a few days.

We've been using Thunderbird for years on an old PC running Windows XP. We just upgraded to a new iMac running El Capitan. We've been having trouble moving the old profile. I had no idea it would be so technical. But since we've been using the new computer for a few days we don't won't to overwrite the new identity.

How can we move and combine the old profile with the new one?

Thanks

Use that add-on to import individual folders of mail. One at a time.

Thanks, Matt. I'll try that. What about contact info?

this add-ons https://freeshell.de//~kaosmos/morecols-en.html and import your old MAB files from the root of the profile folder.
