Few days ago a MacAfee add-on WebAdvisor started working on without my permision, conscius installation etc. I don't like it and I don't want it, but only option Mozilla automatic support gives me is to turn this add-on off. It would be ok but this add-on turns itself on every time I use mozilla. Is there any possibility to unisntall this piece of s...? Or just permanently turning it off?

since i'm not a user of this product myself i can't really give much more advice than mcafee is providing through their support site: https://service.mcafee.com/webcenter/portal/cp/home/articleview?articleId=TS100162

if you are unable tu uninstall the product through the system control panel, you might want to try installing it again first...

hello, this piece of software should be uninstallable through the windows control panel from the list of installed programs.

I already know that I can't uninstall it trough Windows installation/uninstallation software. I also cannot remove this add-on in mozilla settings menu. Even if I turn it of / disable it, it turns itself on whenever I use Mozilla again. Nevertheless I want to either turn it off permanently or remove it.

Can You help me? Can it be done?
