I can create a message filter. What is not working is if I put more that one email address in it. I cannot have multiple email addresses for one filter. How is one suppose to do this. I like my family email to be delivered in my Family Email folder. I have tried everything possible. There must be something I am missing. I add a second email address using the + sign. then I go down and use the + sign to where I want to move it and it only gives me the option to copy to folder, not to move to folder. What gives?

What do you mean by saying it's not working? Did you change it from "Match all..." to "Match any..."?

I would expect the following example to work. Any message that mentions Dave, Susan or Joe in the From box will be moved to whatever folder I select.

Why would you need to add more than one action? If you have moved your message, what else do you need to do with it? I don't understand why you're trying to add a second "move" instruction.

I have simply tried everything. Putting names, email addresses, etc. in as well as "is" and mothering works. Under a filter message rule I titled it family email. I even put my address in the from column and sent myself an email and it just went into the inbox and not my family email. Why? I am at my wits end. I had no problems with Windows Mail or Outlook Express. This one baffles me.

check the folder/account the filter is defined for. The default is local folders, increasingly email is not going into local folders, but account folders. The filter then never gets "fired" as no mail ever gets to it.
