Whenever I start Thunderbird, I now get a Systems Integration window with Set as Default and Skip Integration buttons. How do I stop getting this window?

The System Integration box just started appearing when I start Thunderbird. I've unchecked the box for Always perform this check when starting Thunderbird. I've uninstalled Thunderbird and reinstalled it. The checkbox in Options > General for checking for default email client is also unchecked. I do not have any other email client installed. Does anyone know how to stop it? Thanks.
