Somehow, my Locale settings got switched to Vietnamese. How do I switch them back to English - USA when I can't read any of the settings because they are now in Vietnamese

Note that is it possible that Firefox updated to 54.0.1 and wasn't able to apply the partial update (mar file). The result would be to download the full update and in your case you got the Vietnamese Firefox version for some reason. Installing the full Firefox version of the correct language like posted above should fix this.

hi, when the UI language changes on its own you should be alerted since this can be a sign of malware being active on your system. next to the security software already in place, please run a scan with various other security tools like the free version of malwarebytes, adwcleaner & eset online one-time scanner.
then download & run the firefox installer for your language again from https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/
