How do I diagnose problems with Calendar CalDAV integration?

I'm trying to add our Bitrix Calender to Thunderbird. They offer CalDAV. However, when I add it, it isn't active (checkbox grayed out). Any idea on how to diagnose this problem or fix it?

Just a guess, but caldav has auto detect endpoints and actual ones. Or terms like that. Thunderbird must be fed the true caldav endpoint, not expected to find it from a dav endpoint.
