Why doesn't Firefox on my Acer tablet display fonts at mcgrewbooks.com correctly? Works fine in Opera, IE, and Chrome, and on all my other devices.
On my Acer Iconia tablet, all browsers except Firefox display a serif font. The choices given the browsers are Gentium Book Basic, Times New Roman, and Droid Serif. It's fine on both laptops and my Samsung tablet. Have contacted Acer but have not heard back.

Did you uncheck 'show web fonts' in the advanced section of Firefox's settings?
Yes, it made no difference. Still a sans-serif font. The HTML specifies Gentium Book Basic, Times New Roman, and Droid Serif. Not sure what font it's displaying, but that setting has no effect at all.
I've checked on ther Internet, it seems that Gentium Book Basic, Times New Roman and Droid Serif are all serif fonts. Maybe it's just a problem that you don't have these fonts in your tablet, and the website doesn't has a fallback at Google Fonts or etc (so not working when allowing web fonts), and the sans-serif font is the fallback that Firefox chose.
Check the fonts (and what does your Firefox chooses): https://jsfiddle.net/vfq4rmt4/ (Google Fonts is used, so it should be showing the right fonts if you allow web fonts) Turn on web fonts, you'd see the actual fonts, and when turning it off and refreshing, you would know which fonts are on your tablet.
