My Thunderbird files and folders got wiped out during a Win10 update. All my mailboxes are gone.

I downloaded all of the files to my desktop from Carbonite.

I was following the instructions to import these files to the now empty profile folder.

Well...I don't have an empty profile folder. I have two profile folders and neither is empty.

How cn I get my email and mail boxes back to the program??

If you haven't setup a new Thunderbird profile (or the setup is incomplete), you can remove the old profile folder and replace it with the contents from your desktop. Also copy the file profiles.ini from the folder above your Profiles folder, since it contains the reference to your actual profile.
