changed server setting to Oauth2 and lost mailboxes

more options

I could not login this morning with thunderbird. I got this error Login to server imap.googlemail.com failed.. I changed my server setting to OAuth2 and now I can login( I think) and I get inbox listed only with nothing underneath it showing. I lost all my mailboxes. GMAIL login direct is fine.
