Not even waiting for your screenshot : Yes, you're right : it is a scam. Good for you to be on the alert and not to fall for it  !

Do you see any unfamiliar add-ons, that you didn't install yourself in :

about:addons  ?

(or : Options => Add-ons => Extensions )

If you do : remove them.
