WEb sites with TSL time out On the lates version of firefix
How do I get TSL working in Firefox. Can't get to Canada.ca It time out ALL the time. Trouble shooting from CRA says my browser is 5 years Old!! This is a NEW computer with a new install of Firefox.
Chosen solution
Finally found a solution to the problem. It's not FIREFOX it is the router that was set up to use IPV6 protocol. Many web sites are still in transition to this so reset the router to Use IPV4 and I get to the affected web site immediately.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the
<Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
I cant figure out how to start Firefox is safe mode. Are you referring to windows 10 in safe mode? Which is a little to far above my skill sets to do. AND SCARY!!
Close Firefox. Then,

There are TLS settings prefs on the about:config page that specify the minimum and maximum TLS version.
- security.tls.version.min = 1
- security.tls.version.max = 3
- 1 means TLS 1.0; 2 means TLS 1.1; 3 means TLS 1.2; 4 means TLS 1.3;
What security software do you have?
Your security software may be acting as a man-in-the-middle and may not support TLS 1.2 yet.
You can check your browser.

I took the SSL/TSL test on the link and everything looks OK. I am not a tech or software person - just a user. I have attached a screen shot of the first page. I only know how to print the web page to a PDF file which is an unsupported file format upload in this support group.
I am using Norton Security Premium It is not listed on the troubleshooting link. Norton NEW download again is current - NEW computer
I have to use Edge to get a canada.ca web page. Very frustrating when I have over 10 years of bookmarks in Firefox. FYI have the same problem with the US postal Service web site. https://www.usps.com/
ERROR Message from Windows 10
The connection has timed out
The server at www.usps.com is taking too long to respond.
The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments. If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network connection. If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.
Maybe I will have to export the bookmarks to Edge. ( there's another job I would prefer not to learn) If you have any other suggestions chirp back. Thanks for your input.
Looks fine.
Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support to see if that has effect in case security software is causing problems.

Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. All these programs have free versions.
Make sure you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

You can export your bookmarks using these instructions. The resulting file can be used as a backup, and for use by other browsers.
Open the Bookmarks Manager; Press the Alt or F10 key to bring up the toolbar, and select Bookmarks. Hot key is <Control> (Mac=<Command>) <Shift> B.
Once the window is open, at the top of the page, press the button labeled Import and Backup. Select Export Bookmarks To HTML, and follow the prompts and save it to a HTML file. Copy the file to another computer. Repeat the instructions above, BUT select Import Bookmarks From HTML.

Firefox has supported TLS 1.2 by default since Firefox 27.0 Release (Feb 4, 2014) as per Bug#861266. It can support TLS 1.3 but still not enabled by default.
