Firefox wouldn't open and now it won't reinstall
Ever since last week whenever I opened firefox it would come up as a black screen that said, "mozilla firefox (not responding), at the top and that is it. It wouldn't let me do anything except close the tab. It wouldn't do anything even if I waited for a while for it to load. So two days ago I was getting dick of it and decided to just uninstall and reinstall it. I uninstalled with a bit of trouble but it worked. But, then it won't let me reinstall it. I get through some of the process but then a screen saying that I have had firefox before and to press a reinstall button show up, I press the button and nothing happens. What should I do to reinstall it or should I just give up?

Hi, sorry having a issue. Please see if your Profile is still around if you need the bookmarks or passwords copy it out : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-firefox-stores-user-data See if this finds more : https://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html then try installing with a full version installer :
Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
I tried reinstalling the the full version, and even in a different language but the original problem persists. Also, when I went to recover the bookmarks and such it would not let me open the files.
Hi, I just want you to go to the Folder and copy your Profile out to some where else for now.
You do not mention using Revo ? before running the installer .....
oh I think I may have forgot that I'll try again.
So I tried to download Revo and it froze so I can't download, exit, or accept anything.

You have Internet Explorer and Edge installed in Windows 10, just search for them please and use 1 of those to get Revo.
I used edge when Itried.
Please check your Task Manager for any running processes of Firefox running and End them. Please close all programs then do this please :
- Repair System Registry and Files
Find the Dos Prompt or Powershell, RightClick and Run as Administrator then : Copy/Paste to Dos Window : DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth then hit Enter. Reboot when completed. Note : DISM goes up to Microsoft for new ones.
Then try after reboot to download with Edge.

It didn't work it said there was an Error 740. I think I will just download a different browser, I don't even care anymore. Thanks for trying to help but I think it is a problem with my computer and I will take it into the shop.
