As the question says - how can I duplicate an e-mail account in Thunderbird?

I'd want an account which is *exactly* the same as my current one - same SMTP, same IMAP, same filters, same everything - except I want to change my displayed name and use another e-mail alias - which would be very easy to do if I could duplicate my e-mail account, and then just change those two options.

EDIT: I also tried to add a new account, with the same credentials as the first one, in hopes I could edit the name afterward, but no dice:

Error Creating Account

Incoming server already exists.

WTF? Yeah, I know it exists, I want to have a **duplicate**. Why can't you let me have that, Thunderbird? Why does everything have to be made to be more difficult, FFS?

So, can I duplicate an e-mail account in Thunderbird - and if so, how?

Ah, got it - to change a name of an already existing account, then you have to do Account Settings/[choose your account]/Manage Identities.../Add...
