Thunderbird 68.1 won't allow Picasa to email.
When I click Picasa email, I am informed that there is no email program enabled to perform the task.

It's not a problem with TB 68.1.1, as I can email from other apps in Win7. So, you downloaded and ran the full installer, then restarted the computer, and still no change. Do you have Outlook installed? It has been known to mess up MAPI operations.
The only other thing I can suggest is to install the Visual Studio runtime library, as mentioned in the previous link.

Is TB defined as the default email program in Control Panel, as well as in TB Tools/Options/Advanced/General? Sometimes this kind of MAPI issue, i.e. emailing from another app, can be fixed by downloading and running the full installer, setting TB as the default email client, and restarting the computer. Download the installer here, selecting the 32 or 64 bit version, depending on what is already installed.
TB has always been my default email. I did download the installer to no avail. Picasa had always sent emails prior to this latest update.
Can you check the picture that's with this post and see if you have all the boxes checked for TB?
Yes, they are all checked.
Do you have the 32-bit version or the 64-bit? Help/About TB will tell you.
Picasa is a 32-bit app and won't send through 64-bit email programs:
I have TB 68.1.1 32 bit. I now find I cannot email from Picasa or PDF-XChange Viewer. Both are 32 bit programs. I never had a problem prior to this current version. How can I correct this?
