Forum? What Forum?
Where is the Forum? This is a FAQ-Site, not a forum? Why do you make it extra hard to file a bug? Or to go on an actual forum/board? What community is supposed "to help"?

We can suggest methods for confirming that it's a bug and not caused by settings changes or add-ons. Here's one quick thing you can start with:
New Profile Test
This takes about 3 minutes, plus the time to test your problem site(s).
Inside Firefox, type or paste about:profiles in the address bar and press Enter/Return to load it.
Take a quick glance at the page and make a mental note of which Profile has this notation: This is the profile in use and it cannot be deleted. That is your current default profile.
Click the "Create a New Profile" button, then click Next. Assign a name like Oct2020, ignore the option to relocate the profile folder, and click the Finish button.
Firefox will switch your default profile to the new one, so click the Set as Default Profile button for your regular one to avoid an unwanted surprise at your next startup.
Scroll down to Oct2020 and click its Launch profile in new browser button.
Firefox should open a new window that looks like a brand new, uncustomized installation. (Your existing Firefox window(s) should not be affected.) Please ignore any tabs enticing you to connect to a Sync account or to activate extensions found on your system so we can get a clean test.
Do the problem site(s) work any better in the new profile?
Is it a problem with Enhanced Tracking Protection? If the shield icon at the left end of the address bar is purplish, click it to see whether Discourse is blocked. Click the slider switch to disable ETP and see whether that makes any difference.
When you are done with the experiment, you can close the extra window without affecting your regular Firefox profile. (Oct2020 will remain available for future testing.)
Let us know what you find.

Hi! This is the correct place to post help questions. This is indeed a forum, not an FAQ website.
Is there something you need help with?
Hi, yes, i have several issues with the desktop browser Firefox and i would like to know where to ask about them. That is, someone from Mozilla preferably. You are, with all due respect, not a FF dev or a Mozilla rep. That said, a forum would be themed, so that i would at least roughly know where to look at for a problem (for example disqus logins dont appear anymore since a certain update; yes, it occurs only under FF, and not even the Dev Edition). I have the choice to either wait that a random person knows the solution and is willing to tell me here, or search among a pile of question wether one of them has the same bug/reason as my issue. That is not how a forum is supposed to work, i mean, you sure are also on other forums and know that, dont you?
Hi
What is the problem you are having with Firefox? How can we help?

Not being nitpicking, but it was obviously not caused by settings: it worked with ff dev edition, no addons+ ublock origin (the specific site is unbearable without). it also worked with chrome and edge, no addons either here. it didnt work with the "regular" ff, wether without addons, clean reinstall, other profile, you name it. That annoyed me so much that i (after another annoyance with ff) switched to the dev edition which is still my default browser(ff dev edition 83). ' NOW it apparently is no issue anymore, i just tested it with version 80.01 and afterwards updated to 82, still works. I m still using the same bunch of addons, the only changes so far were literally the updates of firefox itself. I would love to go back and make a note after which update the issue appeared, i know that it was after one, because i read about other complaints back then, but hesitated to consider it a bug but deemed it rather a "clientside" issue.
But this issue is by now 4 months old and i have had been looking for posts with any similar issues, unsuccessfully. The way the forum actually is structured was no help on that matter. I understand that "y´all" are trying to help and i do honestly appreciate that since you are wasting your spare time for my problem, but i just think this could have been solved so much earlier if there was some kind of structure here; like in this example: https://www.computerbase.de/forum/
You can imagine my surprise to read that my post received a reply at all, because i didnt even bother to open my email (where my account is linked with). That email is only used for FF forum and...MS account :P

That is a support forum just as this is a support forum and not just for for desktop Firefox as you can see at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions
Mozilla has made the forum integrated with the knowledge base https://support.mozilla.org/ as it can also help answer some or all questions people may have before posting a thread in the appropriate product section.
