I am able to add to Home screen. However I am not able to add my outlook mail page to home. It says to install. I wanna add this as a shortcut.

Yes, that install option will add Outook to your Android device home screen. Add to top sites will add a shortcut in Firefox for Android.

So it didn't help me earlier. I am able to add shortcuts from Chrome and it shows up on desktop. In case of Firefox after adding shortcut, nothing happens. I m running on MIUI 12. I thought may be an issue with rom. But then Chrome worked, so for confused.

Went to app settings and allow the app to add home screen shortcuts under other permissions. Ans it works now.
