Hi. I work on a mac, OS High Sierra, 10.13.6. I have been using Thunderbird for mail for the past several months. It updated to a new version overnight last night. And now no new mail will come in -- the "getting mail" icon at Inbox just spins around endlessly. Is there a way to fix this? Thank you.

This worked instantly and I have contacted my email provider about the Security Protocols. It was a little unnerving to have a prompt that making the suggested change (to "test" what the problem might be) might void the warranty (I am paraphrasing), but I am glad to have Thunderbird working again.
