I have a problem with my Downloads folder growing in size due to all the junk I only need temporarily. I open a lot of documents, pdf, doc, xls... also launch all kinds of apps and installs. Once I have opened and closed the file, I no longer need it and I want it to be gone automatically. Remember the old Internet Explorer days, when it offered to save the file, or to only open? It downloaded to temp folder and got rid of the file once its closed. I want that. Is there a way?? I am so tired of sorting through all the junk in Downloads folder. Help. I have attached an image to visualize what I mean.

After a time, temporary files stored on the system would be removed automatically. https://www.bing.com/search?q=windows+10+how+to+clear+temporary+files
