Thanks a lot, Firefox! I refreshed my browser and it erased all of my NOTES!! I had many important notes in the Note Extension and now they're gone! You might have provided a "heads up" about refreshing the Firefox browser!

Refreshing Firefox -- easily fix most problems

If you're having problems with Firefox, refreshing it can help. The refresh feature fixes many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information like bookmarks and open tabs. Everything else, like user settings and add-ons, are removed. Note: Refresh saves your old profile to the desktop in a folder called Old Firefox.

Look on your desktop. Do you see a folder called; Old Firefox? Look inside. Look for the folder with the latest creation date.

Hi patnicholson, do you want to try reverting your Refresh and using your old Firefox settings? That's probably still a viable option if your Firefox wasn't very broken.

If you want to try that, check out the steps in the following post where I detail the copy/paste steps and settings changes:

If you get your old profile up and running, then we can turn to the pain points that caused you to Refresh in the first place.
