When updating Thunderbird I get the OpenPGP option for e-mail encryption. Is the access to old EnigMail encrypted e-mails still possible after the update? Thanks. Martin

Yes, but you do need to import your private key into Thunderbird OpenPGP. To make sure the private key is protected it is highly recommended to set a Master Password (or now called Primary Password).
