Firefox Focus Cookie handling
Hello,
I use Firefox Focus (Firefox Klar) as my main browser on Android 11 since some time now. It clearly states that history is deleted when the browser is closed. However, it doesn't state anywhere how cookies and local storage. I have third party cookies blocked, but I can't find information about the handling of cookies and local storage upon closing Firefox Focus anywhere, not even in about:config. Are these also fully wiped?
I came to think about this question when I logged the background network actitvity of my installed apps, and Firefox Focus appeared to be sending informations outwards, without any website being opened. (Also not sure if cookies could be sending something in the background?) Is there regular background activity to be expected? What sorts?
Would be greatful for some clarification.
Cheers!

Hi
When you clear the browsing history in Firefox Focus, the browsing history is very much gone.
A simple test if this is to search using Google, select a result, let the page open and then use the Focus trash can icon. Do the same search again and when you see the results you should find that the link you visited before appears unvisited.
I hope that this helps.
It certainly does not clear everything. If I set "Safe Search" on Duck Duck Go to anything other than the default of Moderate, it remains in that state between sessions. If I instruct the browser to block ALL cookies, it reverts to Moderate, but as soon as I set that back to block only 3rd party cookies, it flips to whatever state I previously set.
I'm not particularly concerned that DDG knows I search up naughty pictures on my own time, or block them entirely whilst at work, but it's an indication that the browser's history is not completely cleared. I would like to have the complete clearing simpler than rooting through the Android local cache.
