Windows 10, Thunderbird 95.5.1 Long time happy user. However, address book is about 4,000 personal and 4,000 collected, after all these years. I would like to slim-down the collected data - so that I can sync the smaller address books with with new cell - Android 12 SO - I exported to .csv reviewed the listings and deleted deadwood. Maintaining same format as the export - I am ready to turn it around and import the much-smaller .csv of edited addresses. Now, I would like to remove all of the old addresses in the existing book - and import the slimmed-down .csv files I have prepared. How to do this? I have simple computer skills - and was hoping not to have to get into the internals - is there a recommended procedure for: cleaning out the old book(s) - and then importing from .csv? Thank you!
