Disable/configure auto-correct

Auto-correct tries, and fails, to be helpful (to me).

For example, I do know always want a period (.) to automatically cause the next character to be one space away and capitalized.

For example, when I type:

a.b

Thunderbird 91 *automatically* changes that to a. B

There are other such "auto-corrects" but I cannot find them, nor re-configure them. I am running on Ubuntu 20.04.1.

My bad. A feature of one of my add-ons is to do this. I will try to disable that feature or remove the add-on. My apologies.

Are you using any addons to do this? I cannot duplicate that in 102 or 105.
