‘Type ahead addressing uses an address that is not in any of my address books (included collected addresses), how can I eliminate this address from being offered as an alternative’ for ‘Thunderbird’

Just need to delete the offending address

This may work. Worth a try, Let me know: - click write button - click F9 to activate the contact list in left sidebar - type enough characters for unwanted name to appear in search box - rightclick and delete

thanks, but did not work

when I type in the left sidebar, there are only valid names that come up but if I type in the "To" portion of the message address, I get two additional names that pop up. I need to delete the additional names in this list
