Increasing height of lines in message list
I've searched the knowledge base already, and can't quite find the answer to my question.
I use Thunderbird 115.1.0 on Windows. My eyesight isn't the best, so I've had to set the font larger. But I can't find any way to increase the height of the rows; that is, the space between messages on the list. There used to be a "row height" among the config options; I can't find that now -- or perhaps it is called something else.
I support Thunderbird and have used it for years -- but I'm older now, and can't see as well. I can't continue to use Thunderbird if there's no way to adjust the height of the rows.
I'm familiar enough with CSS to create a userChrome.css file; I just need to know the exact code to include.
Thank you.

Wow, that was quick! I had looked for something like View, but couldn't find it. I finally realized that I had the menu bar off. Switched it on, there it was, mischief managed. Thank you so much!

I suggest you first try view>density>relaxed. I think that is one of the underappreciated features of 115 and I think it will do exactly what you want. Another option you may (or may not) like is 'Card view' of the message list. You can change to that by clicking the box named 'quick filter' - this lets you switch between table view and card view of message list.

You are most welcome.
This solves one problem but creates another. The row spacing in the message list is larger, but the padding around the search bar also increases in vertical size. I hate the way that looks and honestly, it still has a lot of wasted space even in compact view. And of course if I use compact view, the rows in the message list are much too close together. I was hoping to find a way to correct the line spacing in about:config in a way that wouldn't also impact the toolbar area at the top of the app.
