Since the last update the pane at the top of the page cannot be reduced from a list of 10 emails. How can this be reduced? The bottom will not drag further up, restricting the space available to read messages in the message pane.

Thanks for reporting this. It makes Tbird unusable for me because I need to use big fonts for my bad eyesight.
