Windows Randomly Can't Be Clicked Mac OS

more options

I've been trying to locate the cause of this for the longest time and I can't. I have my Macbook hooked up to a Displaylink dock. Everything is running the most recent versions, the Mac, Firefox, etc. Randomly the windows will all show as they're not active and I'm not able to make any of them active. I can't click links, I can't exit out using the mouse, but hiting enter on the exit prompt will work. Have you seen this before? Do you know what is causing it or how to fix?

This sounds more like a OS support issue then Firefox problem that the displaylink dock might be the issue not recognizing the mouse clicks.

I would agree, but this issue extends to both the built in mouse/track pad and the bluetooth mouse I use, regardless of its its the displaylink monitor or not. Even unplugging the monitors/dock and just using the laptop doesn't resolve the issue.

Have you asked Apple support of this issue as well?
