message pane now displaying messages in double spacing
I took an Apple macOS update last night and now my messages are showing in double spacing where they were much more compact and only single spaced before the update. It's not a deal-breaker but I would like to know how to reset the message pane back to single spacing as it was before. I tried looking up a solution on the web but different find anything easily. I am a monthly contributor.

- click the hamburger menu in upper right - then click the Density icon in that menu to create a compact view.

If you're referring to outgoing messages, check settings>composition and untick the paragraph format option. That often works.

Thank you. It worked, but I also had to reduce the font to get the inbox the way I wanted it. Weird 20 pt was smaller the 19 pt? Weird.
