How do I turn off the split screen option? When I scroll over the midpoint in the top, bottom and both sides of the screen I get an arrow, when accidentally pushed, it splits my screen and then i can not get rid of the second screen that opened. Help me turn off this annoying feature. Please!

That is not a built-in option of Firefox but will have been added by an extension. You can disable or uninstall the extension that added that feature. Open the add-ons manager (in the Tools menu select Add-ons). In the list of extensions click on the add-on that you want to disable or uninstall, then click on either the Disable or Uninstall button.

Some add-ons to check for are Fox Splitter and Split Pannel (there may be others that can split the screen)
