I use Firefox most of the time but my work e-mail, for example, requires me to use IE. It would be convenient to have one source of Favorites or Bookmarks for both these browsers. Is this possible? If not, I would hope that I can in some way export FF Bookmarks to IE Favorites. In IE, the process of moving or copying Favorites seems much easier--just cut/copy and paste shortcuts found in folders.

You could use the PlainOldFavorites add-on, it allows you to use IE favorites directly from Firefox.
