Why does my new FF3.6 frequently stutter and blink when clicking between pages? It's extremely annoying.

Also why does my email sometimes force a stupid thing called quick link when I try to insert an apostrophe while writing - also extremely annoying to the point where I just have stop writing, cancel the email, to shut down/open FF and pray it works again.

Also, why does my page zoom keep dropping back to small on the new FF3.6? I need large settings to be able to read.

Also, is there a way I can go back to my old FF?

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

  • Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

See:

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.

  • Use "Disable all add-ons" on the Safe mode start window to disable all extensions.
  • Close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")

If you need to adjust the font size on websites then look at:
