I want to uninstall Internet Explorer 7 from my HP Mini 1000 netbook (XP). Using the MS site, IE7 beta uninstall prog., it does not work (says, incorrectly, user name different IE install). Any ideas?

Using add / remove programs does not work. Trying to remove it from Windows components does not work---nor via My Computer: C drive: Windows IE does not work.

Personally I would not uninstall IE, it will be needed for sites such as Windows update.

As this is not a Firefox issue, a better place to ask this is in a Windows help forum such as Eileen's Lounge - http://eileenslounge.com
