I have exactly the same. Sometimes it crashes even in Safe Mode. However, it may have something to do with Proxy or connection quality. When I disconnected VPN/Proxy (poor quality connection I had today) it started to work well.

These are not all crashes - I stopped sending the report 'cause takes to much time.

Hi again.

Ok. Seems, I managed to fix it, however, it's difficult to say how exactly:). What I did is:

  • I removed everything Adobe's from Firefox and OS.
  • I took sysinternals/autoruns.exe and I removed everything that looked as Adobe's (not too deep – classes, dlls I did not touch) .
  • From autoruns, I removed also everything MS Office Groove – like. Don't ask me why. I just did not like it.
  • And I did some general autoruns cleansing as well – it's always good to do.
  • Then I tested if FF was still crashing and it wasn't.
  • Then, I installed Adobe Reader but not the newest version but some 10.0.x (downloaded from "older versions link").

So now I have Flash plugin v10.0 r32 and Adobe Reader 10.0.1 and everything works without any crashes.

Aha – I can only imagine how it was connected to VPN, proxy, etc – I did not do anything about it.

Nuxar as I mentioned I just installed the lattest version of Firefox and it's working fine. Your solution may have worked but was way too complicated for me.

Thanks for your reply though.
