I have security concern over the Firefox 4. The disappearance of status bar doesn't mean a thing for me but the padlock symbol is nowhere which is also a symbol that we are viewing a secured website.
I am very concerned over my security online. I think that the padlock should be included in this new version of the browser too. I seems that firefox has released an unfinished browser and I think that it has ignored some common security tips for making a good looking browser than a secured one. Firefox has been the most secured browser of all the times and I want it to be the one as long as it could be.
Chosen solution
The "lock" removed with the Statusbar in Firefox 4. The S-I-B is used to indicate a secure connection.

This extension will add a "lock" in the S-I-B display.

Thanks 4 ur help. Now I am satisfied that even the latest browser don't have a padlock it is secure over any other browsers present at the time. I have not used the padlock addon cause I think the padlock is replaced by the S-I-B.
Thanks again 4 ur help.
Modified
People get very comfortable when paying their bills online when we see the gold security lock. Please make this a priority and bring it back!!!! For now I will be using IE 8 to pay my bills...............

Did you read the S-I-B article?
The padlock or in ur words the gold security lock is replaced by S-I-B. Site Identity button is an unique feature in the Firefox and it really recognises good websites over bad ones. And ofcourse, Firefox was and will be the most secure browser than any other browser in the market. You should read the S-I-B article first. https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Site%20Identity%20Button
