I cannot watch programs on CBS.com because of "blocked commercials by my browser". How do I unblock so I can watch (I don't remember ever blocking)?

I watch all my TV programs on-line. Today, when I got on to watch anything on the CBS site, I was not able to. The message I get is "...is being blocked by an ad blocker installed in your browser." I try not to add or delete anything due to a history of screwing things up, so I don't know how this happened. Please help.

If your using Add block just right click on the Add Block stop sign in the upper right corner and there are disabling options there on the drop down menu.

Thank you for your help, but the 'block' was not available before the message appeared that I was not able to watch due to the ad block. I tried your suggestion on another site but there was no 'disabling option' in the drop down menu just options to save the link. Any other suggestions?

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

  • Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Also make sure that your firewall isn't blocking content, you may need to check the advanced settings for Firefox.
