why does my location say http://www.google.com/firefox?client=firefox-a&rlz=1R0GGLL_en, laptop just says google.com

I think it just indicate=s you are using a Firefox start page as opposed too the Google's own page.
it should be easy to change Firefox Homepages to what you want, or to specify which types of search or locale you use when using Google.
