Make a password so employees can't browse Firefox on company time on company iMac
Hello, My friend owns a gym and her employees are spending their shifts browsing on Mozilla Firefox when they should be on the floor working. She has a iMac which the employees need access to to process clients. Unfortunately some have been slacking off and browsing the internet instead of working. My friend does not want to remove Firefox from the computer but does anyone know how to create a password to open it?
Chosen solution
Sorry, Firefox doesn't include a way of password protecting use of same. There is one add-on which adds a feature like that to Firefox, but it is easily by-passed, and mentioned on the download for that extension.

The other solution might be separate logon users accounts at the operating system level, and no access to Firefox for a regular employee logon user account.

The best would be to block all internet access in the firewall.
Thanks so much for your help. Unfortunately we cannot block all internet access as the gyms system 'Mind Body' needs safari to run.
