ive been using mozilla for years and now it crashes randomly. ive disabled all the plugins and also loaded in safe mode. it brings up an index of stuff followed by like 2 random windows with seven tabs in each. ive reinstalled mozilla and everything. nothing works please help!

Please backup your current firefox profile, create a new profile, and add back each file ONE at a time

create new profile

start firefox

test page

if successful goto 2

goto 3

exit firefox

copy one essential-profile file to new profile directory from old profile directory

goto 1

exit firefox

remove most recent addition to new profile, choose a new file

goto 1
