I've downloaded latest version and installed but keep getting message that my version is out of date. Sometimes I get the message and somtimes I don't. Have tried it three times.
I've downloaded the latest version and installed but keep getting message that my version is not up to date. There are times when the message about being out of date does not display when I launch Fire fox and there there are times when I get the message. I asked this before and no response.

You may see that message below the Google search box on www.google.com/firefox which is the old Firefox default home page. It appears that page is no longer being maintained. You appear to have the latest Firefox 8.0.1 installed
- See --> https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Finding+your+Firefox+version
- You can also see your version on the Help > Troubleshooting Information display
If you want the Google search page as your home page, a new, updated version is now built-in to Firefox. Reset your home page to about:home for that new display.
