When using Firefox 16.0.2 and browsing Facebook, the browser stops responding and an error message appears telling me that the script has stopped working.(Script: chrome://wrc/content/overlay.js:1677) This only happens on Firefox and Facebook works ok when using Google Chrome. As firefox is my default and preferred browser I would like to get this problem fixed.

Thanks Cor-el for your response. I have tried the suggestion and removed the Avast Web Rep and facebook now appears to work correctly within firefox. Many thanks for your help.
