Why do support add on tabs tell lies to sell their product?
A tab opened which cam from ".tofushopnews.com/g/?ilmernzkvtazn=D43D7E5668FA8042&pu=YmJjLmNvLnVr&s=firefox&nm=ilmernzkvtazn&t=aHR0cDovL3d3dy5iYmMuY28udWsvc3BvcnQvMC9mb290YmFsbC8="
The information in this ADVERT generated by Firefox ( I must have ticked or not ticked something when installing Firefox) states that my available memory use is very low when in fact the opposite is true. I have also told that I have computer threats and viruses which again was untrue, all coming from a "support tab" This type of advert is trying to frighten people into buying their software. I am very disappointed that mozilla is resorting to such tactic. How can I stop these unwanted tabs from intermittently coming up?

These advertisements aren't from Mozilla nor from any company associated with Mozilla. It's likely you are infected with a Virus on your computer. Read the following to get rid of it:
Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware
then Reset Firefox, Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings
hello tyrakbarry, this is nothing that is coming from firefox or mozilla - you have malware on your system...
please see jscher2000's helpful reply here, which should help you get rid of the tofushopnews problem: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/967667#answer-466638
in addition run a full scan of your system with the security software already in place and different tools like the free version of malwarebytes, adwcleaner and microsoft safety scanner.
