How do I edit my password to sync,as I missed a number out?

more options

I downloaded the new version of Firefox on my PC, then downloaded the app onto my android notebook, in order to use the sync facility, but I omitted a number from my e:mail address when registering the notebook account, consequently, I can`t verify the account, as the e:mail hasn`t been sent to my address. I can`t find a way to edit the incorrect address, so can´t use the sync.!! Help.

ok, then i would go ahead and simply abandon the old account (since without verification none of your personal data got shared with it yet) & create a new account and link your firefox installations to that one.

hello, please delete the account with the wrong mail address at accounts.firefox.com and create a new one with your correct email afterwards.

Thanks Philip,it won't let me delete as it says I haven't verified the account, which I can't do as it's not a valid email,or if it is,I don't have access to it. Any other ideas?
