unable to migrate from windows live mail

I have installed Windows 8.1 with windows live mail. Now I want to switch to Thunderbird and import the windows Live Mail data. When I choose to import Live Mail at the screen with Import Settings and Mail Folders there is nothing to choose from.

Is there something I have missed....?

Download and Install Thunderbird:

Create mail account.

Import the emails. then import the contacts.

I assumed that there was a direct option to import WLM into thunderbird and obviously that option is not there. And assumption is ..... ;-)
