firefox is telling me that each website that runs adobe player says its running an outdated version and needs to be updated. Whenever I try the link provided to update adobe, it says I'm running on the most up-to-date version.

If you are using https://www.mozilla.org/plugincheck/ then page needs to be manually updated. If you have 15.0.0.242 or older then that is not current.

For Windows and Mac OSX only 16.0.0.235 and the extended support version 13.0.0.259 at https://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html are not affected as per https://helpx.adobe.com/security/products/flash-player/apsb14-27.html though if users are using 15.0.0.246 then they are safe.

Flash Player Plugin 10.3.183.66 to 15.0.0.242 (click-to-play) has been blocked for your protection. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/blocked/p794

Same here!!!! It looks like they added all versions of flash except the newest one to a blacklist, but there has got to be a way to bypass that!!!
